Update: Writer Rankings Working Again
UPDATE:
Thanks to B/R rock star developer Axel Molina, writer rankings are back up and running correctly.
Remember, these are the newly calculated rankings that put a lot more weight on qualitative factors as opposed to just the quantity of articles you’ve written. That said, we feel they are a lot more accurate and hope you’ll agree. We’ll keep working to improve them, so if you have any feedback please let us know.
Thanks,
The B/R Team

Hey, thanks for updating the rankings. However, I find myself completely baffled by them. I know you’re working really hard, and I myself know that rankings are a good measure of where we are as writers, but prior to the update I was 14th on the MMA page. Now, not even in the top 32? Cmon. I’ve always written good articles, and though I’ve only been a member for a good month or two, I feel that dropping that low isn’t fair. Don’t take this as a hate comment, please don’t. I respect you guys, and this entire site. I just want some fair treatment, as I put so much hard work into my articles, and this site daily. Please let me know what you can do. Thanks.
Great job. You guys are obviously committed to evolving this into a premiere sporting news site and I support your efforts 100%. You have many writers here who do a much better job than many of the columnists on the major outlets.
Hey guys, I like the idea of making the whole rankings more quality based. However, since they were updated, I used to be 4th on the Phillies top writers rankings, and now I’m not even in the top 12. While I would mind if the people in front of me had written more, high quality Phillies articles than I have, I would completely understand. However, I am behind guys who have not written one article about the Phils, or they write one article that gets maybe 50 reads and all of a sudden they are number three or four on the top writers board. I love the work you guys do, and I love this site. I do not want to sound angry, I am just pointing out something that has irked myself and several other Phillies writers.
see, so its not just me…..
How do you actaully rank articles? Can you explain it more?
Is it based on number of
votes? On frequency? On the time the article was posted?
