San Francisco Writers Meet-up April 19: Final days to RSVP!

Cable Car

Ride to the meet-up in style: The California Street cable car is three blocks away.

A reminder to Bay Area Bleacher Report writers: Time is running out for you to RSVP to the San Francisco Writers Meet-up on Thursday, April 19.

The S.F. meet-up promises to be our biggest one yet. We’ll gather at Bleacher Report headquarters, 153 Kearny St. between Post and Sutter, from 6 to 9 p.m. We’ll have the usual great food and drink, and a much larger than usual contingent of Bleacher Report editors and execs.

NFL draft expert and Lead Writer Matt Miller will jet out from his home in Missouri to join the proceedings. But he’s ineligible for the Valuable Prize given to the person who travels the farthest, so you’ve still got a shot.

This is a great chance to meet other B/R writers, and to let us know what’s working, what’s not and how you think Bleacher Report should change to make your life as a writer a better one.

B/R’s new debate feature is an idea that grew out of writer suggestions at meet-ups, as were some behind-the-scenes changes that we’ve made to help surface pieces written by non-Featured Columnists to the site cover.

If you’re coming, we need you to RSVP so we’ll have enough grub. Leave a comment or Drop me a line, and we’ll see you next Thursday.
