Hi All,

It’s no secret that Bleacher Report has given thousands of users a platform to share their views on sports. Many B/R diehards have used the network to jump-start their journalism careers, making the transition from casual fan to amateur sportswriter as they hone their writing skills.  With that in mind, B/R has decided to introduce the B/R Interview Series as a way for our writers to learn from the people who have been there and done that.

In the months ahead, I’ll be conducting weekly interviews with sports media professionals. The goal will be to glean insight from experience: to explore their influences and career arcs, and to learn about the processes that go into their work.  Interviewees will include well-known writers, broadcasters, and executives—all of whom have been able to turn their passion for sports into successful careers in the industry.

I hope that you find the interviews to be both interesting and informative, and feel free to leave any comments and/or criticism both here and on the individual articles themselves.

Enjoy the interviews!

–Max

Bissinger should make for a good read.

I’ll be interested to hear his current thoughts on the Three Nights in August vs. Moneyball hoopla since he kind of rephrased his opinions in TNiA’s second printing. It’s been a while since I read the two books, but I remember that being an interesting “baseball man vs. stats guru” discussion.

I believe Liverpool,Manchester United, Real Madrid, Barcelona and Arsenal have a shot off winning the Champions League. But for Arsenal who is using alot of younger players, I believe they could face either Liverpool, Juventus, Real Madrid and or Manchester United not to exclude Barcelona and Iner Millian. Ialso believe that the best team in England is Liverpool. I believe that Liverpool will and truly stop their skid of not winning a premier league title in my days until now.

Liverpool and Arsenal are my favorite teams because of their creativity, ability to pass the ball and score goals.

LIVERPOOL FC WILL WIN THE ENGLISH LEAGUE AND ARSENAL WILL WIN THE CHAMPIONS LEAGUE OR JUVENTUS OR BARCELONA OR THE DEFENDING CHAMPIONS MANCHESTER UNITED.
