About the B/R Blog

The Bleacher Report Blog is edited and mostly written by Senior Quality Control Manager King Kaufman.

It addresses journalism issues, news and trends of interest to those who create content for Bleacher Report as well as others in sports media.

If you’re interested in writing for Bleacher Report, the best way in is via B/R’s paid educational program, the Advanced Program in Sports Media. The APSM is a paid, part-time, 12-week sportswriting course, a kind of digital-media finishing school for early-career professionals and very advanced journalism students. Participants telecommute and set their own hours. The average time commitment is about 12 hours a week. Stipends are paid for the completion of weekly educational units. Course credit is also available at the discretion of the student’s institution. You don’t have to be a current student to apply. The program is year-round, with rotating start dates.

Bleacher Report also has a program that focuses on editing, with otherwise similar characteristics: the Advanced Program in Editing and Content Management.

Mid-career writers interested in positions at Bleacher Report should monitor the Bleacher Report Careers page.
