The Bleacher Report Blog as classroom

Classroom

One of the main jobs of the Bleacher Report Blog is going to be to serve as a kind of classroom. I’m hoping it’ll be the good kind. You won’t have to sit still or be quiet and you can bring candy.

About once a week, I’ll post a longer piece about a topic important to sportswriters. Some of these will be relevant to any writer, such as how to write clear prose or organize your thoughts. Some will be relevant to anyone doing journalism: Interview tips, for example. Some will be useful only for those writing about sports, and a few might be of interest only to those writing for B/R.

Eventually, soon, these pieces will be available at the new Writer HQ page, where they’ll serve as a sort of reference library. For now, I’ll tag them “Bleacher Report 101,” and you can find them that way.

I’ll post the first one later today, about sourcing and attribution.
