Welcome to Writer HQ

We’re thrilled to announce the launch of Writer HQ, the new dashboard for Bleacher Report writers.

If you’re a B/R writer and you’re logged in, you’ll see the Writer HQ when you click on the “write” link to work on an article. Or you can go directly to it here.

There are some familiar elements: Your stats, your archive and the orange buttons for creating standard articles, slide shows, etc.

What’s new: The latest post on this blog, plus links to a couple of recent posts, and a list of links that take you to the various resources for writers — the style guide and content standards, for example — that were formerly scattered around the site.

Still to come: “Bleacher Report 101,” an educational center for B/R writers, with articles about all aspects of being a good sportswriter. We’re working hard on that, and we hope to be rolling it out over the summer.

My first day on the job here, I was already talking about creating a kind of “clubhouse” for Bleacher Report writers, a hangout with everything they need in one place. The new Writer HQ is the first step in that direction, with a lot of exciting stuff on the horizon.

Check it out and let me know what you think.
