Bleacher Report’s b/r U profiled at NiemanLab.org

The Nieman Journalism Lab at Harvard gave some love to Bleacher Report today in a blog post headlined Bleacher Report ups its game by taking contributors to school.

The piece is about b/r U, our training curriculum, which helps Bleacher Report writers better understand writing for the web.

Writer Justin Elliot liberally quotes your humble writing program manager, accurately, and spells my name right. What more could a person ask? Well, I wouldn’t have minded if Bleacher Report veteran Ryan Alberti had been mentioned as the brains behind b/r U.

The Lab did get a great shot of the Bleacher Report office, though.

The Nieman Lab describes itself as “a collaborative attempt to figure out how quality journalism can survive and thrive in the Internet age.” We like to think we’re a small part of that, and b/r U is an important, new element of what we do.

If you’re an approved Bleacher Report writer and you want to learn more about using the Web effectively, check out b/r U.

Oh, and OK, that’s not our office. It’s a room at Oxford University.
