Jobs in sports: A useful collection of listings links

Writing about sports is a great way to be a part of the sports world for those of us who can’t run a 4.4 40 or hit a baseball 450 feet.

Those of you is what I meant there.

But it’s not the only way. An odd little website called Sports Administration Masters has a useful-looking post that lists the top 40 job sites for sports administration.

Sports administration is a blanket term for the legions of non-athletes who keep the sports world functioning. People with sports administration degrees work as agents, team, league or facility employees and executives, coaches, trainers, public relations people, marketers and dozens of other things.

Some of those things involve writing skills. Click around. There might be a job for you out there.
