McSweeney’s guide to better writing: Do not take literally

This blog does not pretend to be the only source of great writing advice on the web. It also doesn’t pretend to be the only source of really lousy writing advice.

So now that we understand each other, I’d like to recommend The Ultimate Guide to Writing Better Than You Normally Do by Colin Nissan at McSweeneys.net.

Having read it, you won’t automatically become a better writer, which makes it a lot like most of the writing advice you can get online. Except at this blog. But at least you’ll be laughing.
